Asharqia Chamber launches its training programs as part of its preparations for the industries of 2023.
During the current week, the Eastern Chamber is launching a series of training programs in collaboration with the Social Development Bank, as part of its preparations for the launch of its exhibition for productive families, crafts, and handicrafts ("My Industry 2023"). The Chamber is organizing the sixth edition of this event under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of the Eastern Province. The exhibition will take place from August 29th to September 2nd, 2023, at the Dhahran Expo grounds on the Dammam-Khobar Coastal Highway.
The training program aims to prepare participating productive families, visual artists, and artisans for the exhibition by enhancing their capabilities and providing them with the necessary professional, managerial, and creative skills. This is intended to elevate the quality of their products by improving their craftmanship and presenting their products in a more professional manner. Additionally, the program seeks to equip them with marketing, pricing, networking, and social communication skills.
The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Ruzaiza, emphasized the importance of these preparatory programs in collaboration with the Social Development Bank. He highlighted that these programs are a fundamental pillar in the Chamber's plan for hosting the sixth edition of the exhibition. They follow a methodological approach to ensure continuity and success. He noted that the Chamber intends to execute a number of relevant training programs aimed at developing, qualifying, and enhancing the skills of the participating families, centers, and associations before the exhibition takes place.
Al-Ruzaiza stated that the Asharqia Chamber's organization of the "My Industry" exhibition for the sixth time falls within the framework of the Chamber's continuous support for projects, programs, and events that align with national efforts to enhance a sector that plays a significant role in the national economy. He pointed out that the productive families sector is a promising sector in the Eastern Province due to its broad base, diverse products, and accumulated expertise over the years. He highlighted the numerous advantages of this sector, both economically and socially, which motivated the Asharqia Chamber to adopt a strategic plan with long-term goals aimed at elevating the productive families sector.
Al-Ruzaiza considered "My Industry 2023" to be a direct and more effective platform for organizing and developing the work of productive families. He affirmed that the Chamber will continue its efforts towards the development and growth of productive families, providing them with the necessary professional, managerial, and marketing skills. This approach aims for these families to become self-reliant and secure a sustainable source of income.
